Hey everyone, I had a ruptured ectopic removed last Thursday. It’s a devastating loss after a previous mmc in December. I had a tube removed and they sent me home the same night as the operation. Honestly I’m just really anxious about whether the surgery worked and not really sure what to expect with the recovery. It’s day 4 after the surgery and I still have pain. I’m only really starting to feel like I can walk around.

I wondered what other people’s recovery looked like, how long it took for you. I also wondered whether you had follow up scans or blood tests to ensure the hcg is going down?

I know I’m very anxious with all I’ve been through so some similar stories would really help 💛
