Another post about the blood stuff

Yeah, I know there have been 5011 million posts about blood but it was on my mind. My PIMI father had an injury this week and potentially needed surgery. They ended up calling it off due to the risk of bleeding and will just let him heal naturally.

Naturally that’s got me thinking about the new “understanding” about stored analogous blood. And if this has already been said, let me know and I’ll delete. I just haven’t seen this said.

I think they were testing the legal waters with this one. Seeing if there would be backlash from families of believers who died in a planned surgery where they could have donated some of their own blood ahead of time. I think that in time they’ll reverse their beliefs on all transfusions saying the mosaic law was referring to blood when there was loss of life and that Acts was about actually eating meat not bled properly—because that animal lost its life. It may not be soon but I think it’s coming.

Edit to add: and maybe not just the legal waters but the reaction of the members too. How many are going to start questioning and maybe even leaving due to the change?
