Hi as the title states I have about a 7 hour layover on flight in July. If I wanted to go out into the city of a bit and then come back do you think it’s doable. Or should I just hang out at the airport for those 7 hours? Would I need to claim my checked bag regardless of if I leave the airport or not?

Looking to possibly go to Coachella next year but coming from Florida. For those that fly how do you get your camping gear for the festival? Is there a rental place near by or do you shop when you get there? More than likely going solo so trying to figure out logistics with car camping and gear.
