What is going on with the billing system? I just got my electric bill in Islamabad, and I was charged around pkr 7k in taxes against a pkr 2k electric cost.

How is the common man supposed to live? It's becoming hard to breathe in this place. 'Quarterly Tarrif Adjustments' are more than the bill. What's even the point? Aren't you already charging fuel adjustment, income tax, fixed charges, sales tax, etc, etc.

It's crazy to me. Hats off the the parents and breadwinners of every household in this country. I've found a sudden and honest new respect for them.

This isn't at all a cry for help, just genuine shock from a person running their own household for the first time.
