This manhwa had weird progression?

So I'm reading **Diamond dust** rn. I'm at chapter 13 and I don't understand how things escalated up to this stage. In the first chapter it seemed like the ml was intrigued by the mc, in the further chapters he was nonchalant about his presence, even in the photoshoot and in the next chapter he's sleeping with him? What's going on?
