I left a pickup layer of white Liquitex on a plate overnight and I had strips of my under layers peel off to expose the pickup layer. It has been cool and humid, but this was left in a heated room under decent conditions with multiple heavy books to apply even pressure. I left it for 10 hours, and it seems dry, though maybe the very inside of the acrylic hadn’t cured. Other than drying, did I apply my pickup layer too thick? What else could cause this peeling? The paper is Canson Mi-Teintes. Perhaps the paper buckled before I could evenly weight it. The print was a double pass through a Brother HL-L2460DW. The transfer was successful, but something went wrong with the pickup. Any insights are appreciated. Thanks.
