I am so so so so so annoyed and genuinely upset actually about how being trans has become some political thing being kicked around by both the left and the right. like it’s some stupid hot topic to either get attention or like manipulate people. When in reality it’s a medical condition and the people faking being trans for political reasons wether they realise it or not because they don’t even know what it really knows what a transsexual is and they’re giving real transsexuals an ATROCIOUS reputation and tbh i’m scared we’ll never be able to get rid of the damage these people have done especially since majority of real transsexuals are either stealth or even just don’t want to post online publicly because they want to have private lives and stuff but it’s just most people don’t know any real trans people they only know the fakers or have seen them online and that’s their only perception so they presume that’s what all trans people are like even the real ones 😭 sorry idk what else to say.

Transmedicalists have such a bad reputation and for what 😭 like it’s really not difficult to comprehend that to be trans you need to have gender dysphoria. If you don’t have gender dysphoria then literally what are you doing and why? It’s so annoying and it’s impossible to even try and start a conversation with these people because they’ll just immediately be like “You have internalised transphobia!” or “Your invalidating trans people” or whatever tf they’re saying and i’ve literally tried to have a conversation with someone who is against transmedicalism and I was being polite and respectful and telling them why i disagree in a normal civilised manner and i didn’t even say anything rude to them at all i was just saying my opinions and they literally starting telling me to kill myself because i said and i quote “I just don’t understand why somebody would want to transition or have medical procedures that they don’t need and would be fine without yk 😭 x” that’s literally all i said… honestly if I wasn’t trans I would probably be transphobic bc of these people oml. Also I started transitioning (socially) when I was around 7 and that was before all of this stuff got super insane and they also told me that i was jealous and bitter because i transitioned ‘so late in life’ for being a transmedicalist…. which literally coudnt be further from the truth and they’re just making assumptions because they don’t agree with me but whatever 💀 oh also this was on tiktok (unsurprisingly)
