Best whole house water softener - is Culligan worth it or am I just paying for the brand?
Moved into a new house 2 months ago. White buildup on every faucet, shower glass looks permanently foggy, dishes come out of the dishwasher with spots. Hard water is definitely the problem.
Got a quote from Culligan - $3,200 installed. That feels insane. Is a salt-based system the right call or is salt-free worth considering? Looking at iSpring and SpringWell too. What would you go with?
