Form 4138 subbmitted through QuickSubmit (question)

Form 4138 subbmitted through QuickSubmit (question)

Sorry for length - want to know if 4138's submitted through QuickSubmit should show up on the VA.gov claims file (it's been since 4-1-2026) -- here's the background:

HI! I've posted before -- I am helping my Vietnam combat vet husband (aged 79)with a claim for prostate cancer - submitted 11-20-2025 with evidence of biopsy showing cancer, etc. We thought it was a simple claim so did it outselves.

He was on the ground in Vietnam 1966-67 and should be presumptively eligible for AO exposure.

His DD214 does not show his specific dates of deployment (only enlistment dates) so the VA asked us to prove he was really in Vietnam. (Note: campaign ribbon and combat medal on his DD214 doesn't cut it..). Apparently the VA cannot get/find his USMC personnel records (we've asked also, the archives only returned a DD214 which we already had)

So --we worked really hard and submitted the best proof we had that we was there...on form 4138 thru QuickSubmit - - all of our uploads went through (according to Quick Submit) on April 1 right after we submitted.

However - we cannot see evidence of the form 4138's on his VA claim file.

Should we be concerned? I know we can't *SEE* what we submitted without a FOIA request but we should be able to see that there are THERE attached to his claims file... right? Ugh.
