Landlord Admin Fees

Hi,

I’m looking for some advice.

I accidentally spilt some car oil in our car park, and the landlord is now charging me for professional cleaning costs as well as an admin fee.

From what I understand, the Tenant Fees Act 2019 banned admin fees, but I’m not sure whether that applies in this situation since the issue relates to the car park rather than the property itself.

Could anyone clarify whether they are allowed to charge the admin fee in these circumstances?

Hi,

7 days ago I was taken in to hospital and had a tumour removed as I was experiencing intermittent bilateral thigh tingling and weakness.

I’m told they removed 99% of it and the moment I woke up my thigh pain and weakness had gone, along with the sciatic pain.

Now for about 8 years I have suffered from extreme insomnia, my latest sleep study showed that I wake up 5 times per hour, and have severe periodic limb movement disorder (PLMD).

From my research, it seems to be fairly common that a tumour pushing on nerves can cause PLMD.

My question is, has anyone else experienced PLMD due to a spinal tumour and how is your sleep now?

Right now there isn’t much difference, I’m wondering if it’ll take time for my sleep to get better.

Hi,

I was discharged from a&e, no X-ray even offered and given painkillers. I walked around for 2 weeks before going to my GP for more pain killers.

I think it was the week after I went back to A&E and they did an X-ray and found out I had approx 8 broken ribs and a hydropnumothorax.

A&E was surprised I was still alive.

Why was I discharged without an X-ray the first time?Do I have a medical negligence case here?

I’m in England.
