I’ve been working on a drill based on Woohoojin’s idea behind “this is why I require 300 hours for VOD review,” where the core issue is not thinking from your opponent’s POV consistently.
I want feedback on whether I’m structuring it in the best way, because it doesnt feel like it when I practice it.
Drill:
\- Load into deathmatch
\- Check heatmap/scoreboard and pick one specific player
\- Stand still -> mentally switch: “I am them”
\- Only move/shoot while actively holding that mindset
\- The moment that POV drops, I pause, reset “I am them,” then continue
The goal is to change your thought process to start with thinking of yourself as your opponent and make every action come from the opponent’s perspective first.
Currently immortal 2 and pushing for radiant, definetly feel like this is the difference maker I need.
Would appreciate any serious input.
Edit: Ive been seeing alot of confusion on the comments and I want to clarify that this dm drill is purely only meant to build the muscle of imagining yourself as ur opponent
Also yeah I understand this concept is weird asf, if u want to understand it just watch his video on it
