I have always been an avid CD collector even though I stream everything these days, but I decided ever since M returned with so many great vinyls, that the time was ripe to get my first ever vinyl. I dug out my parents‘ old vinyl player from decades ago and enjoying the sound quality.

I got the CD as well which was only $9.99 at Target (Yes, I’m aware of Target’s recent controversies but unfortunately I have no other record places nearby I can get physical copies at) and it looks so nice next to my physical OG Confessions CD I purchased decades ago when it came out.

I‘m very tempted to purchase the Pride edition vinyl. Do you recommend I get it now or wait until it’s possibly marked off on sale?

I might be talking from a biased place as Madelyne Jennifer Pryor is one of my favs following Emma Grace Frost, but I can’t believe these two icons never interacted in any way in their history of comics.
Yes, there are exceptions like the crossover where Emma teamed up with Nate Grey in that Generation X Crossover in the 90’s and Madelyne made a brief appearance at the end or the arc where Emma was a key influence in the Quiet Council on voting to resurrect Madelyne in Zeb Wells’ Hellions in the Krakoa era, but otherwise I dont recall either of them ever crossing paths when Madelyne was alive in the comics. And No, that Red Queen in Fraction’s Sisterhood arc wasn’t Madelyne but that evil Red Queen Jean entity.

I know Emma and Maddie are so similar it’s redundant between being telepaths, exes of Scott/Sebastian Shaw, rivals of Jean, anti-hero tendencies, dressing revealing as a sign of power, and but ruthless and effective intelligent leaders, but I feel like they would make a dynamic teamup. I can definitely see them butting heads at first and underestimating each others’ capabilities but in the end I think they would both really come together and sympathize with each other given their similarities. Not to mention i think Emma and Madelyne would gossip about Scott’s performance in bed, make fun of Jean despite now being on good terms with her and I can even see them dating given that they‘re both Claremont creations and automatically bisexual coded.

How do you feel a team up or interaction between the White and Goblin Queen would go? Are you a fan of Maddie too along with Emma?

I can’t get enough of ”Danceteria” and have been constantly replaying the music segment from the Confessions II film and the preview. The song is ridiculously catchy and upbeat and great to workout to. It really is a Pride anthem even at only 30 seconds at this time!

Although as much as I Need the song in full to stream, I also don't mind the wait for the full album as it’s something to look forward to with the album release. You don’t serve the main course before the appetizers!

Are you excited for “Danceteria” as much as I am???
