Alright so im a dropper. So yeh I have been preparing for jee since 11th. And no I was not "forced" to prepare for jee,nor it wasnot like i saw some random reel and decided to prepare for jee. nah. It all started from the dream to pursue engineering , back in 7th grade when the love for astrophysics started(noo guys not those pro equations..uk the concepts n theory, i used to join in discussion groups of space sciences n astrophy),then in 9th grade coding..I was like yehhh i wanna be an engineer.. my parents wanted their only daughter to be in a white coat with stethoscope but I decided since then, i wanna be an engineer. well days passed and JEE phase. Honestly JEE killed the whole "curious/out of box" learning for me. Instead of concepts and "why" behind it, i ran behind chasing n memorising formulas. Instead of seeing through mechanism i just learnt organic che tricks. I missed the part of mine who loved to think, solve, analyse cuz just for marks i ran behind rattafication of formulas(yeh i wasnt an advanced type of girl soo i never did jee adv. qns). Fast forward to UGEE. Honestly didnt buy test series or prepared seperately. Just saw patters in reap(yeh even i expected linguists but koina) , gave 2 mocks and some materials in reddit(thanks ppl) and i appeared expecting that just like how i fumbled jee i will fumble this too and i will have no idea to solve any qn in reap. BUT as soon as i started reap section, i got that part of me back! who loved to read, understand n answer and not directly apply any formulasss. I am not saying i did a WOW performance, but i truly "enjoyed" it. visualising the problem, thinking and then working for the answer..connecting concepts to real life situations..and those funny options in the astronaut and fridge qns..everything, made me really "enjoy" attempting the paper. And idk how my performance will be, but i would always say it was WORTH IT. just for the nice experience n the way i enjoyed solving the qns that revived the past me that i always missed since JEE days.

TL;DR: JEE killed the spark i had for phy and che since 7th grade but UGEE revived some of it through their REAP qns which needed to link the concepts with real life situations and "think" on spot rather than just formula rattafication.

thanks for reading : ) just wanted to share with y'all ..

Alr so,
I appeared for aeee today

Well starting of with the easy ones : english was very simple, basic english
Aptitude was easy too : simple interest, find the odd one out number series, calender type,
physics: thermodynamics, frequencies waves, mordern phy(de broglie),inductance, magnetism, kinematics(tower qns uk..), pendulum inside fluid(shm),dimensional formula of G, definition of temperature,pv graph - some qns were moderate its not as easy peasy as jan (dw there were easy qns too and nah its not jee level)

chemistry : easier side, do ncert really well. for me out of syllabus qns like polymers didnt came so yeh..but just see some typesof polymers it might help. for chem they asked some organic qn whether product will be inversion or retention like that, statement qns, half life, electrochem(daniel cell), osmotic pressure factors, hybridisation, vitamins table(ncert one..pls see the food names too😭..they asked xerophtalmia for me)

maths: well...do every key concepts of chapters. cooordination, planes, itf(easy dw),basic integration(not direct tho),probability, pnc(how many 3 letter words can u form using given word type),rank of matrix, one 2025 mains level vector 3d qn, ellipse(Wasnt direct),trigo(basic),onto one one, continuity

hope this helps, good luck :)
