So, I’m 26f and I live in the US but I’m not from here. I recently went on vacation to my home country and had a solo trip at the beach where I met this 42m. Since the moment I saw him I thought he was attractive and I chose to sit close to him at the bar (me, then i put my backpack on the chair between him and i, him).
I don’t fully remember how we started talking, but we did. It was karaoke night and I sang, he didn’t. We then played a card game together and it was so much fun! We stayed up till the bar closed and we just went for a walk to the beach. I even shared fruit from my country with him and overall the conversation was great!
I then asked where he was staying and he said he was planning maybe a hotel close by, but it was 2am and I know it’s very hard to find an uber in that area at that time. I also felt safe around him and we were both kinda drunk, so i offered my Airbnb lol. We hooked up at night and in the morning and then he took me to eat. He also paid for my bill at the bar. I then had to leave and go back to the city where my house is (in my country) and he was flying back to where he lives the next day. We ordered the same Uber, I dropped him off where he needed to be, and then i went home. We exchanged numbers and I honestly thought i was never gonna hear back from him lol.
He’s been texting me ever since and now is planning to come to see me to where I live in the US. I offered him to stay at my place since i live alone but I have a single bed person lol so i also told him that. He said he prefers an hotel so I don’t have to worry about anything, but he sent me a mattress to my home lmao. And said he’s gonna stay at my place just for on night because he’s honestly curious about my apartment. I’m a very free spirited person and I think my experiences in life (bad, like trauma experiences) have made me more mature, or at least more smart about how I move in life. He’s a surfer lol so I don’t dream about something stable with him.
But what is this? I’m not expecting a relationship from this, but I’ve never been in this dynamic. I don’t like to feel I’m taking advantage of men haha. And I’m glad he is coming but why would he offer to buy me a bed, i wont say no tho!!! I’m struggling financially in the sense of “I can’t buy niceRRR stuff, but I have all my bills paid”
I’ve recently realized I attract men that want to provide in my life, but I don’t understand why! Lol. I know I’m attractive, I’m also very independent and I don’t even ask my family for help when needed. So this is strange but peaceful and it makes me feel like I can get whatever i want lol. I’m starting to let men spoil me, and I’ve been in a couple of dates recently and I’m noticing I don’t attract broke stoners anymore, it really is men that have their shit together.
I have my shit together too, but I’m not wealthy by any means. I’m just responsible haha
