Starting a network for older/non-traditional students (24+)
Hey everyone. I'm a 26-year-old non-traditional student here (Substance Abuse Counseling major), and I’ve noticed there isn’t really a dedicated space for those of us operating on a different wavelength than the typical younger crowd.
Whether you’re a grad student, in a professional program, or an older undergrad balancing real life with academics, campus can feel a bit disconnected when you're intensely focused on building a serious future.
I'm putting together an unofficial network called Mature & Motivated for University students 24+. The goal is to build a high-value community where we can coordinate high-focus study blocks, share resources, and network with peers who actually get it. We’ll be hosting a lot of our co-working sessions at the Lindner College of Business to get out of the usual study spots.
We are stepping away from the typical college chaos to build a network of disciplined, grounded individuals. If you're looking for an environment like that, click the link to join the Discord: https://discord.gg/av6xy54W6
