Jules saying “You want me? Make me yours” is so icky. She is a notorious tease but why does she gotta keep playing these games with Rue 5 years later 😭 like damn Rue just wants to hang out, fuck and eat takeout together is that too much to aks 😭😂💀

It also seems inconsistent with Jules’s whole “i dont believe in monogamy” and detached vibe for this season. But when has Sam Levinson ever been consistent…

I don’t blame Jules for being super distant and cold at this point in her life. Her first experiences with love were both traumatic. First with Tyler/Nate, and then with Rue. I don’t love the choice to have Jules involved in sex work, but I can understand why she does it. For Jules, sex is concrete and simple—its transactional and straight to the point. Always has been for her. Completely opposite of her experience with love which has been cloudy and brutal and uncertain. Say what you will about the choices she’s made. Not saying she is perfect! But I understand how that bubbly facade we all fell for has finally come undone. Especially as a trans person myself. I just hope she gets a happy ending.
