What happened to all the Intel minI PC's on Amazon? Seems like it is all Ryzen

Based in Australia and I am looking for a replacement mini PC for an old Asus laptop to run my Plex server. I have been browsing on and off for around 9 months now and players like Minisforum have reduced their inventory on Amazon AU and seem to only be doing Ryzen pca and prices of other brands have seemed to sky rocket.

Is there no market for Intel devices or is it dying? Is this the impact of RAM shortages?

If anyone has any recommendations sub AU $500 for something that is Intel and will be good for a Plex server let me know.

How do I remove these window coverings?

Hi everyone, I was at my in laws today and I noticed a funk that smelled like mold coming from their bedroom.

Sure enough, behind this screen there is a metal window frame that has a black mould outbreak. There is a gap of about 25cms between the frame and the window covering so I am unable to get between the two.

The only option is to remove these window coverings but I cannot for the life of me work out how they have been installed. I can't find any screws or nails and there are no latches or hinges that allow them to open. My only suspicion is that they have been glued but even then I can run a piece of paper between the gaps.

Has anyone seen anything like this and know if I have any options other than completely demolishing it to get it out?

Thank you in advance.

Moved to New house with Solar how can I find my specs

Have recently moved to a new place and have solar panels on the roof. I got my bill from my electricity provided and can see I fed 38kw into the grid and got paid 2 cents. According to AI this is the lowest legal limit my retailer can offer.

Naturally I am wanting to get away from them asap and want to have all the information necessary to find the best deal. Hence knowing the solar specs is required.

Any ideas? Thank you

I am running a Plex server on an old laptop which is running Windows 11. I am having an annoying issue where by Windows will automatically install updates and reboot my system. This means that I need to login again and I am only made aware of this when I go to access Plex on a device and it is not reachable. This is particularly annoying when I was overseas trying to stream my media.

I have been doing some searching online and found something and followed these steps

If you have already created a user and want to stop it from asking for a password on boot:

  1. Press **Win + R**, type `netplwiz`, and hit Enter.
  2. Uncheck "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer".
  3. Click Apply and enter your current username/password to confirm.

I tried a restart and all that happened was there was a lock screen for a new user (I am assuming local).

Is there something I am missing here is it not possible to just boot straight into windows in my defauly account without requiring my pin or password?

Thanks in advance.
