I’d like to bring more light into my entry area, is it easier or less costly to get a double side lite door installed or can I put a side-lite-esque window here instead for the same effect/less cost?

Basically as the title, I’d like to put a window in this wall behind the cat tree but can’t seem to find anyone that does anything other than replace current windows. Can someone suggest what type of person to call (GC, etc?) and if this is feasible? Any idea ballpark cost for a ~36-48” window?
