Hello!

I have a half coming up in ~4 weeks and was looking to add a new shoe to the arsenal, specifically a race shoe.

I am pretty new as this is only my second half marathon. First was in October. Hoping for a 1:40-1:45 this go around.

Current lineup is:

Adidas Evo SL (love them, ran first in them, only trainer for most of last half and this half)

ASICS Nimbus 28 (they’re okay, only using for easy days, can’t see myself racing in these)

What should I race in? I was thinking of picking up the Megablast or Superblast? I could always use the Evo’s but I know the stability isn’t great. I heard the Adios 9’s are good but not sure if a carbon plated shoe is necessary for someone like me!

Any recs would help!
