I have a 2014 bmw i3 with a Rex it has pretty much all of the optional original extra features. It has about 98,000 miles and On the guess o meter it gives me about 55-65 miles of electricity but it’s definitely lower in the winter. I was considering buying a obd2 scanner and code to unlock the menu to allow the Rex to maintain battery as I’ve had multiple drive train malfunctions with it trying to turn over. But considering its age am debating putting more money into it. I haven’t done much of anything to the car myself and I’m not sure if it’s worth it so thought I’d ask people who know, thank you.
