After many hours, I finally reached p2 on the 9/10 lap, with p1 having a solid 20-second advantage. I was set to finish in 2nd place, but then P1's pit stop letting me catch up and win. The victory felt completely hollow.

I was grinding a Gr.1 race where Peugeot 908 HDi FAP was always winning, and each victory was done without a pit stop for gas or tires. When I check the replay, the P1 pit stop on the last lap without changing the wheel or getting gas and having more than enough of both to finish it. The delay was long enough to eliminate the whole advantage it had over me.

Did I get hit by a pitty system that decided to throw me a bone after losing so much?
