Context: I’m just getting back into yoga after a 6 year break. 3 more babies later & definitely heavier & semi out of shape - hike a lot but not much else.
Just did a Strength II session this morning and while the first 25 min kicked my booty (in a good way), the last 20 minutes had me longing for more and wishing the class would never end.
Definitely feeling it and a little sore. Plan to soak in the hot tub tonight to help my muscles but would a Gentle Vinyasa class at Noon tomorrow be a bad idea? I don’t want to push my body too much but since it said Gentle, was hoping this class would a good option for a next day class?
What’s the general recommendation for rest days for a beginner?
***I have intense Tues-Friday work schedule that makes getting to classes a lot harder so Sat-Mon are my best days to find classes I can get to.
