Bedtime Trouble

Hello Parents I come to you with an issue that's been going on for about a year. My kid is 4 years old as i'm writing this.

A little bit of context, my kid still can't sleep by herself so our bedtime routine is dinner, brushing teeth, a puzzle on my phone (a quick one), story then a parent stays with her until she falls asleep. Then it's part of the routine she wants to go to the toilet every night (even if she just went before bedtime) but that's not an issue the problem i'm having is when it's my turn to stay with her there's systematically a crisis, screaming, crying trying to leave the room to look for her mother, it can last 30 minutes and it's really draining for the 3 of us.

My relationship with her is good, we spend time together play a lot, i take her out just the two of us plenty of time, and she can be hugging me telling me how much she loves me and the second after it when we're about to switch the lights out flip into full mode crisis so that her mother sleeps with her. We tried every possible technic we could find/think of nothing works.

Once she calms down and realises that i'm staying and her mother isn't coming she just huggs me tells me she loves me again and it's as if she didn't spend the last 30 minutes screaming her lungs out and fighting me to leave her bed.

We're lost and would like to know if anyone has had a similar issue and how did you resolve it
