Love bad product photos
Was shopping around for a cribbage board since I don't have one, and Amazon continues to provide me with my favourite things for free; terribly photoshopped product shots.
Where none of them are even playing Cribbage.

Only just messed with it a little bit but my first impression is that I'm utterly in love. The initial feel of the materials, joints, posing, and transformation are all wonderful (though I'm a bit paranoid about the parts of the wings that are held together by clear plastic hinges) The legs have no right being as humanly poseable as they are.
The box mode's not the most solid but the process to get there is satisfying with lots of secure connections. And the way you form the inside of the box mode first and move towards the outside feels so clever.
Yeah this lad's gonna be a workplace companion for the next week, he's neat XD
Poor Godspeed feels like they've been replaced.......
Was having a bad day.
Remembered 52Toys is making mecha girls.
Realised they might make a lady knight one.
Day is now not so bad.
Gonna be very curious to see how this feels, though. Yeah, obviously a shell-former, but I don't usually care what method a figure uses to transform as long as it's fun to do, and a good shell-former can feel downright soothing to me.
"Oh, I have four other Beastboxes on the way and I had to buy a new chair. I should be careful with money."
Brain: "But what if you tried one of the AMTS sets...... Hercules looks pretty nice........"
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Edit: I just bought Toxotes for €46 skull emoji
Anyone here have those figures? Because I'm thinking my nephew would love the idea of this line.
He's only 4 but he loves playing with Lego and Transformers. Would it be worth getting a box or two for him for Christmas?
For the first month or two of having this guy, I wanted to defenestrate him because the shoulders were such a pain. And while it's a shame his right elbow is loose, but I've been having a blast messing with him all of a sudden!
Also now taking this chance to say I hate that making my account with Google gave me a bad pre-set name I can't change but you know what? I do be taking steps to be commercial by shilling for things I like.
The last pic is just my duplicates, but yeah.
Beastbox collector who buys the figures, opens the booster packs, and then throws the toys out with the packaging.
Zhuque has me wondering if I should splurge on it, the dragon, Xuanwu, and also Kirin (I know it's technically not part of this set but it still kinda fits XD). I have Baihu and I really like it, but it's also just typical how I'm now considering more stuff after passing on everything during the recent Duty Savings sale XD
The way the wings rotate for transformation means you can pose them like swords, and it feels so Monster Hunter-ish. I'm still in love haha
I haven't applied any decals yet, but this is genuinely some of the most fun I've had posing a figure in ages.
Though I also keep looking at the car mode from the top and thinking the back should be the front XD
My bored-at-work box of tricks. Or trick-taking. And transforming because one 5cm beastbox fits perfectly XD
And I've got Beastdrives on the way, too.
H e l p
But really, getting them all out and just seeing how they're able to get so many organic shapes to work as nearly perfect cubes is just insane to me, and how the sizes vary in beast mode.
Getting the hang of how Godspeed transforms and felt I had to try do something like this haha
Edit: I impulse bought Baihu with 2 minutes to go before it'd arrive at a later date sdfhjkwerhjksdfhwejksdfh
I have a small collection of Beastboxes so far and I'm kinda mixed, but I also feel like I need more. Because that's plastic addiction.
.......And I like the booster packs.
So far I have Dio, Lotus, White Noise, Moon Safari, Godspeed, Safezone, and Neo Gio 2.0
Dio's a lovely little lad, White Noise is very cool but for some reason I don't find the transformation all that satisfying, and same goes for Godspeed. It's hard to explain.
Moon Safari was what convinced me to buy more, and Safezone is just a masterpiece. Love its conversion to bits, thanks to the tactile nature of all the chunky panels and pegs.
Neo Gio, however, is my sleep paralysis demon--
Update; I contacted them and they said it's due to a synchronisation issue between their warehouse system and AE. So, no cause for alarm, just a technical hiccup or a very silly mistake. I'll delete this post when they fix it.
Shortly after I ordered some Beastdrive kits, the category on their store was wiped and there's only a handful of Beastboxes. They only have one page worth of products for their entire catalog too. Has this happened before?
All because I got into playing a bunch of solitaire games after discovering Scoundrel last year.
Yeah.
Hi--
