How do you usually write your book? How do you intro a pilot of your story?

sorry guys but ive been writing a book about a boy who was sent by his dad for a vacation to cool things up after his mom's death,

What is it like in Sicily Italy? the setting was set there but i dont know much about the place yeah im wrong for that but that place is so romanticcc

So ive had this imagination and story content, like i have all the storyline in my mind all lined up. But when i write i stop, I write like a robot, literal no emotions, i dont use ai but i feel like i use ai, get it? There's always something that is lacking, it lacks emotions, i havent published one single chapter, i keep all my drafts on my notepads and i always delete and restart. So How do u guys write?
