Blizzard has been catching a lot of flack lately, but this has been PEAK Diablo for me. Signing off top 25 HC (#1 on the box 😎) for the season 🫡
Congratulations, Blizzard. This is the best game you've released in 2 decades, in my opinion. It had the gritty story and artwork of D2 with the gameplay of D3, which to me is exactly what I've always wanted. This is my second season of D4, the previous one was when they released tempering like 2 years ago.
The expansion 🙅🙅 incredible. The cinematics, the storyline etc. I didn't think Blizzard had it in them to make a good story anymore. I liked the first expansion too. Seeing the monk guy who was so willing to help eventually be corrupted by our actions and not the demons was really good. Watching him devolve.
And then LoH with the cinematics 🙅🙅🙅🙅 holy fuck. Blizzard is back on their game with these cinematics.
The title of rank 1 is facetious and momentary, I'm sure 🤣
I had originally set out to see the storyline and maybe get a pit 100. I died like 40 times getting to 70, because I was dead set on playing on penitent. 38 of those deaths were like lv 15 and below lol 😭
I finally reached lv 70 on a guy and then died at t6 to my first lair boss. I had enough exp whisper caches and some back up gear and decided to go against! That character died one hour in to q lightning storm black out lmao.
I went agane and died a couple more times to lair bosses. Then I decided to farm instead of push and after an insanely lucky Echo , I managed to get Selig and my other mythics and from there it was history.
I farmed t10 until I had at least one GA in each piece of gear and then built the selig set. Walking into t12 I was so scared , because the normal ww set would go down to like 5% health in one hit in t11😭😭 but then being immortal with Selig was amazing. All fear was gone. I could stand anywhere.
T12 mephisto got folded. Pit 130 done on time. And today with the ranking, I saw the top guy was 125 so I decided to just do a quick 126 and call it a season 😎. . but then I decided to check and someone did 127 so I did 128 haha. That was it , though. I'm hanging it up and will let this HC character survive untouched forevermore in the eternal realms.
