Long story short: Flight Zurich > KEF cancelled 9 hours before departure (1st June). We did not accept the proposed flight 24h later as it would have made our 2 weeks trip in Iceland difficult (everything was booked in advance). We took an other airline with a better flight for us. We claimed 400€/passenger under EU 261: Icelandair refused because we did not accepted the proposed flight and they concluded that doing so, we were not anymore in a contract relationship with them (crazy!). Just passed the case to a specialized Swiss law firm. They are not even assuming their legal obligations. Tired of this airlines
