We are about to start a full kitchen renovation. We picked out soapstone countertops. AI says that they should cost $70-$120 per square foot. Going through our kitchen designer, the proposed price is $130 per square foot for the “cheap” one, with the others coming in at $195 and $234 per square foot. Is AI out of date or are these prices out of line? We live in urban NC.
