Need Advice! Do I DM him?
I have a crush on this guy I’ve seen at the gym a few times. I know his name because a friend of mine used to work at the gym, so she was familiar with him. Well I followed him on Instagram recently with every intention of DM’ing him, but now I’m unsure. He hasn’t posted on his Instagram in years and never posts stories. Also, I wouldn’t say I’m 100% sure he is single though (he has some recent photos he was tagged in from girls in what I think is his friend group, but none seem like his girlfriend. Although, you never know I guess!)
I need advice! Is it weird to DM him? What would I even say?
Has DMing someone worked for anyone?

*Just an added note: I should’ve clarified originally that my friend who worked there was (at the time) friendly with a trainer who was friends with him. So most of the information I got about him was through a mutual person - not the gym database! Now she doesn’t see/talk to that which is why I’m not asking him to help set us up.*
