New to airsoft and want to build my first 3D-printed Mosquito Mk1 (V3 gearbox). I was aiming high on power (1.7j would be pretty cool) , but it still depends on your recommendatuons, if I should lower expectations if it means better reliability and less headache.
I'd also love to know:
which setup makes you happier long-term with the least ongoing effort? Or does spending just a little more effort upfront actually pay off in durability later? (Sweetspot)
front battery or rear battery setup?
What's the real-world difference in hassle and reliability?
And if it doesnt brake the bank maybe quick spring change to lower power when needed..
Open to any recommendations you have for the whole build, not just internals. Priorities: simple, durable, decent value for money, and easy to source in the EU. If you've built one before, what worked for you and what would you do differently, if you‘d build one again?
Thank you guys
