Pixel 10a taking almost 5–6 hours to charge — normal or defective?

I recently upgraded from a Pixel 6a to a Pixel 10a, and charging performance feels extremely poor.

Even during normal/light usage, the phone sometimes takes almost 5–6 hours to fully charge.

Current AccuBattery readings while charging:

~3.5W / ~922mA

Battery temp around 38°C

Estimated 3h+ to full even from 26% low battery

Using official charger + cable.

My older Pixel 6a charged noticeably better under similar conditions.

One extreme example: during hotspot usage , the phone barely gained 1% charge for hours

I wanted to ask other Pixel users:

Is this expected behavior on newer Pixels?

Are Pixel 10/10a devices throttling charging this aggressively?

Or does this sound like faulty cable/charger/USB port/hardware?

Would especially appreciate replies from Pixel 10/10a users or people in hot climates.
