Can anyone tell me what this exhaust is?

Bought the bike pre-owned. It's some aftermarket exhaust, but I can't for the life of me figure out the brand/model. Problem is, it makes the bike sound absolutely amazing, but I am beginning to feel it's too loud for poliet society.

Is this throttle going to kill me?

So, I opted for the Vulcan over the Rebel 500 because I wanted the extra power when I get to higway riding.

Granted, today was the second time I've ridden it fully. I am just puttering through my subdivision at 10-15 mph. However, I am having a hell of a time controlling throttle. It seems to go from 0 to 1000% in an instant. I am getting to where I can control it pretty well when I have gotten moving in a straight line but I've had some scares coming to stops and starting back where completely unintentional engagement has almost shot the bike out from under me.

I've tried a few times to just back off reposition amd collect my thoughts but when Ive got a good 15mph or so pace the engine breaking when I do that also seems pretty extreme and causes anxiety in other ways.

I imagine it's just about getting the muscle memory but any tips or tricks?

Check engine light?

Bought my 2023 a couple weeks ago. Getting around to playing with friction zone in driveway. In the dealership I noticed the check engine light when checking it out. I'd seen in videos that this ia supposed to go away after running a bit, but with about 15 mins of running it was still on.

Is this something that requires moving at speed through the gears?

My first bike, also

Seeing a lot of first bile posts here, thought I'd join in. Bought last week after I decided I liked the Vulcan more than the Rebel 500. Maybe a little more than needed for a new rider, but I love the look and finding a 2023 in mint shape with low miles was a no brainer. Looking forward to taking my MSF course and getting to know her.

Can't overcome fear of moving new bike

Hello, everyone. I recently decided at 45 y/o to finally make my dream of owning a motorcycle come through. I did a bunch of research and decided on a Mawasaki Vulcan S Cafe. Found one I wanted and went ahead and purchased with rhe goal of being ready to ride by fall.

I plan to take the MSF in about a month but I live in a big cul-de-sac and have room to do the basic stuff like finding rhw friction zone and doing some basic stuff.

Problem is: I had delivery guy pull it into my garage. I have a fairly steep driveway that makes backing a nearly 500 lbs motorcycle out onto the street terrifying. Ive messed with it a bit and managed to get it half out and back up in. But I scared of handling it all the way out, and even moreso if I am going to be able to get it back in.

Should I just leave it alone for now until Ive done the MSF and have some experience or is it worth trying to do. It juat feels like it'll need a good bit of throttle to overcome the uphill driveway and things could get out of control if one session in the street doesn't give me the confidence to accelerate it up
