Minor not shown on transcript
Hi! I graduated from UMass back in 2021, and completed all the requirements for a minor in Spanish. I am now applying to medical schools and realized that my Spanish minor is not stated anywhere on my transcript. (If I list a Spanish minor on my application that is not explicitly present on my transcript, my application will face processing delays/may be rejected from verification) I reached out to the registrar and they will not change my transcript because it has been over 6 months since I graduated. I explained that I am not asking to change any grades but to simply designate the minor since I completed all coursework for it. They will not change it unless I can prove that there was an error on their part. I am confident that I did complete all the necessary steps for the minor back then, but its been a while and I obviously do not have access to my old UMass spire and email accounts, so I don't know how I would even go about proving that if I did think an error was made. Has anyone had this happen before? My best friend from UMass also did a Spanish minor with me, we studied abroad together and took all the classes together, and she just confirmed that it is not shown on her transcript either. I find it hard to believe that we both just *completely* dropped the ball on this back then, we both were very diligent with our majors, honors, etc. and I even vaguely remember meeting with an advisor over Zoom in ~2020 about the logistics of the minor (I specifically remember being explained how easy it would be to just add a few more classes and make it a double major). But apparently I did not declare it properly according to the registrar, and since I haven't exactly had a need to analyze my unofficial transcript since then I failed to notice the absence of the minor. Has anyone experienced this? Any ideas on what I can do, if anything? (Pls be nice) I appreciate any advice TIA!!
