Didn't get credit for AP World
I got a 4 on AP World but on Spire it says "Score out of range", did they change the score threshold or is this just an error?

Greetings and felicitations. This is just my opinion from my observations, from last night and sometime in the last week. If you are ordering for no-contact delivery to Fieldstone Flint, do not do so to the entranceway facing Lot 34/the Robsham Visitors Center. At present there are many ants in that foyer which, having crawled under the outside door, are happy to eat your food, as I have seen on both occasions. (Last night there were two coffee orders from 9-something a.m., which had not been picked up just after midnight.)
I called and left a message about the first time I saw the ants, but I am not a resident. Perhaps a tenant's maintenance request will carry more weight.
Hi Im am coming to amherst college this fall and does anyone know where the best nightlife/ dance spots are? Is it more concentrated in frat/ house parties or are there clubs to dance at? Thank yall so much!
Hi everyone, rising sophomore here trying to figure out which campus job to take this summer and could use some outside perspective.
I applied for both Peer Tutor at the LRC and Residence Hall Security Monitor. The monitor position pays almost double what tutoring does, which is hard to ignore as a broke college student. But the tutor role feels like it'd look way better on a resume — especially since I'm CS/Math and would be tutoring those subjects.
I'm not really hurting for the money right now, but 2x pay is 2x pay. On the flip side, I'm eventually gunning for internships and research positions, and I feel like "Peer Tutor in a CS or Math course" reads better than "RHS Monitor" to a recruiter.
Has anyone done either of these? Is the tutoring experience actually worth the pay cut, or am I overthinking it and should just take the money? Would love to hear from people who've been in either role.
Is the Worcester dining Commons open today? There's no phone number to call and the website refuses to work.
Hey everyone! I’m currently assigned to a standard single room in Southwest (Washington) on the 14th floor. I’m looking to swap with someone who has a single room on a floor with a female restroom (floors 3, 6, 10, 15, 17, or 22). If you're interested, please let me know. Thanks!
If not a shower caddy, how do y’all lug all your stuff to the shower? I’m trying to avoid buying a plastic box/bag just for this purpose that I’ll only use for a few years. Thanks
Hello,
We are researchers at UMass Amherst seeking participants for the Barriers to Diagnosis and Autistic Identity in Young Adults (Protocol #7211) study. This study visit includes one, 2.5 hour lab visit where you will complete questionnaires and be administered the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2, which is a series of tasks and interview questions. If you are interested in participating, please know that the study team will take a video recording of you while you are completing the ADOS-2. Participants will be compensated $20 for completing study procedures, and can request a research report of their results.
If you are interested in participating in this research, please fill out our study screener (which can also be accessed via the QR code).
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email dice@umass.edu and I would be happy to answer your questions.
I commute, but I've been thinking of getting a bike to bring with me to get around campus. I messed up my foot last year and it's never quite been the same. Does anybody have a bike who actually gets use out of it? Or do you just use the busses to get a close as you can to places? My main concern is that I'll get a bike and then decide it's not that convenient/too crowded between classes to use anyway.
I’m currently looking over apartments, fieldstone Slate and Kendrick Place are currently my best options. What are the nearest supermarkets(preferably Costco) and restaurants(including coffee places and bakeries) within walking distance to those two places since Google maps isn’t giving me the best results.
Thanks
Hi everyone, I’m looking for off-campus accommodation for the 2026–27 academic year near UMass Amherst.
I’m looking for a private room or shared apartment/house, ideally in the $700–900/month range. I’m trying to understand what options are available, so I’d appreciate any leads or advice.
A few questions:
• Are there places in this budget that are close to campus?
• Which areas are best if I want to be on or near a bus route?
• Is $700–900 realistic for a private room near UMass?
Please comment or DM me if you have any leads or suggestions. Thanks!
has anyone seen their scores yet? i saw on reddit that someone last year at umass was able to see at 9pm on july 1 and im just wondering if mine are just late. i just want to see my scores so bad 💔
Context: I’m someone who couldn’t get housing but was able to in the late assignments on June 5th. However I was thinking about living off campus instead for multitude of reasons and got in contact with an apartment I was interested in.
However I completely forgot about cancellation fees and reached out to residential services. I emailed asking about the cancellation fee, and they told me according to the schedule, it’d be $1,000 dollars. I tried asking if it would be adjusted because I got my housing so late, as I only had a month of deciding about off campus. They told me they couldn’t do anything about the schedule.
I’ve had trouble with residential serviced giving me inaccurate information in the past, so I was wondering if anyone knows if it’s possible to get a lower fee. I wouldn’t mind paying $500 or $650, but $1,000 is just too much for me to justify living off campus instead.
freshman in electrical engineering, i still need to add english but it was full so it depends on what i get for lang

Looking for someone in the Amherst area to pick up and hold onto a set of course books I delivered to Amherst by accident for this weekend. Will arrange to grab them from you sunday afternoon / evening. Will pay $10. DM if interested.
I have a gecko that I’ve had since my freshman year of high school and he is my pride and joy. I rescued him so he’s around 10 years old now and I was kind of hoping he would just like, die, before I went to college as crazy as that sounds so I wouldn’t have to rehome him. but I’ve been looking and nobody in my area is willing to take him without the proper shelter for him. Right now he’s in a 20 gallon, which I know is small for his species but it’s all I have space for. I was only supposed to be caring for him temporarily.
Anyways, I don’t know what to do, do I try to bring the 20 gallon and just gas light them into thinking he’s a rock or something? My mom won’t take care of him while I’m away as she’s like terrified. I could put his lights on a timer and drive home every so often to feed him as a last resort, like once a week. Unless there’s someone in the western mass area that wants him?? Idk I luv him a lot but even if I was able to drive home he needs more care than I can afford money wise to give him right now, I just haven’t been able yo find anybody that will take him that would be able to provide proper care
Is the parking portal open for anyone yet. Claims there isn't any permits available to purchase and to try again later. I'm out of tge country and using a VPN so trying to see if thats the case.
Hello, all! I am transferring to umass amherst this fall, and had a webinar about move-in and in that, the speaker said when you move in beds are lofted but you can move them up/down. the problem is that i have a physical disability and if a bed is too high up i will have a lot of trouble getting in (+ risk of falling that could be really bad) anyone know if we can get someone to help move them down the day of move-in? thanks.
