I’m posting this because I’m at a complete loss and frankly beyond frustrated. My Valorant account (which I’ve spent over $400 on) was hijacked yesterday around 8 AM.

What’s insane is that I had MFA enabled and the email was linked to me. I never received a code or an alert, yet the attacker managed to change the email and password instantly. I even have a screenshot of the person who currently has the account admitting they "bought it from someone."

I’ve raised multiple tickets over the last 12 hours, providing everything I thought was relevant, but Riot Support keeps hitting me with the "not enough information" automated-style response.

For those who have successfully recovered an account after a hijack:

  1. How is it possible for them to bypass MFA and change the primary email without an alert?
  2. What "specific" info did you provide that finally convinced Support? (I’ve given them a lot of details like what could've been my first purchase, where the account was created, previous usernames and more info but it's not working).

It’s gutting to see someone who paid $20 for a stolen account get better treatment from the system than someone who owns the account. Any help or shared experiences would be appreciated.

Oh yeah and also If this post gets taken down as being a support request, just know the only reason I'm here is because raising a ticket has effectively wasted 12 hours of my life
