It was my wife's sister's wedding. They dont really have much extended family and I helped her through everything. Even paid for lots of it. I treated her family like mine.
About 20 days after the wedding a guy messaged me on instagram with inappropriate pictures of my wife. He was her old school friend and the pictures were taken by another school friend she slept with at the wedding.
I confronted her and she tried to play off as pictures are old and then even as freaking AI and revenge by the guy. I told her she will have to file a police report if the pictures are fake and she broke down. I cant believe I was feeling pity for her in the moment. Then she even blamed me because I was too busy in her sister's wedding and ignored her.
I am just so so thankful to the guy who didnt mind telling on his friend. We are going through a divorce now and it feels so surreal what happened in last 3 months. How much my life changed and I am still standing, dont even feel the hurt anymore. I dont think I will be able to trust anyone anymore though.
