TSP allocation-retired

I retired with the DRP last year. I wish I had more in my TSP but it is what it is. I have half my balance in G fund and half in I fund. It’s been doing pretty well. Should I take half of what’s in the G fund and put it in C? I’d really like to earn more. If I do, when should I do it? Do I just transfer half over? I’m really an idiot with this stuff so don’t be too harsh! Thanks!

Life Insurance

I retired with the DRP2 (finalized) and wanted to see what life insurance would be best. I currently have basic and 1x my pay. I still have a mortgage with 15 years left. I’m hoping to get that down quick by adding more to the principal once I get my FERS supplement next year. I’m not married and have one adult child that everything will go to if something happens to me. Not sure if this is TMI or needed info. Anyway has anyone gone to WAEPA? Would that be better/cheaper or stay with FEGLI? I did 75% reduction. Thanks!
