Identifying the year

I recently acquired this nautical hat and was curious on the year? I did some research and found that United Hatters & Cap Millinery Workers Union merged in 1984 so it is definitely older than that at least I assume I’m clueless. I am a Depop and EBay seller but not well versed with hats. I do some hats but mostly clothes. I’ll attach pics! Would love any help on info 🙏🏼 thankyou!!
