Please help me find my hat

I bought this hat from Taiwan but I'm pretty sure it's an American brand and I like that a lot so if anyone can please help me identify it I would really appreciate it

Can anyone help me find this hat?

I’ve been wanting this (very) broad brimmed fedora of the style and colour worn by Sean Connery in The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. I attempted to buy one through the website Hatbor and… well, what they sent me certainly wasn’t what they advertised.
Somebody somewhere must make this hat due to the amount of images of it online. Can anyone help me find it?

Appropriate hat for a French wedding?

Going to a summer wedding at a French chateau—invite says that ladies should wear hats. I’m at a total loss! Any advice? I’m thinking of this dress but please tell me if I shouldn’t too!

I just got gifted my first hat. Now I want to learn how to style this piece.

My mother in law just gifted me this hat during a fantasy festival because she thought it just Iooked too good on me not to get it. It is a piece by Alfonso D'este with a sort of classic top hat model, but a more modern design. I normally don't wear any hats at all, except for the occasional beanie during the winter. I do agree with her, it fts me really nicely, but just don't know how to pull this off with casual wear. Do you have any tips or style advice could work with? want to push myself a bit and get comfortable with the idea of wearing a hat, but just need a little push in the back think.

ISO baseball hat repair

Desperately looking for someone to restore my fiance's beloved baseball cap. It has a tremendous amount of sentimental value to him. Our dog got a hold of it and he's convinced it's trash now, but I'm determined to find someone who can fix it!

Finding a type of hat

I’m looking for a flat brimmed hat with a relatively flat top, much like the pics below. However, I don’t know what type these are. The closest I’ve found is a recreation of the hat from the movie The Hateful Eight, but part of the problem is I also have a large head, and the websites biggest size didn’t fit. Can someone point me in the right direction to good manufacturers that make this type of hat, or even someone who does custom work? My head size is 61 cm, and I’d actually like it a bit bigger than that if possible

Which hat design do you like ?

Same hat but I’m thinking of sewing a larger American flag on hat on right. Flag on the left hat is so small. Opinions ?

Gotta love a good excuse to buy another hat.

While clearing out some pics in my phone, I found this. Every year, my wife and I host a murder mystery party or themed Halloween party. And every year I have an excuse to buy a new hat. This one was board game themed. I was Van Pelt from Jumanji. My wife was Mrs. Peacock from Clue.

Waxing a Stetson

Hello! I bought a Stetson Calf Split hat and decided to give it a first wax before using it outdoors. I used the same leather balm I use for my motorcycle leather suit. I always put maybe a little too much of the balm on the suit and I maybe did the same on the hat.

I used five bean sized amounts of the balm and wiped it on last night. In the morning in still felt a little wet from the balm and left it in my fingers. I know its a short time to dry but still. I used a clean lint free cloth to wipe the excess and now it doesn't leave almost any trace of the balm on my hands.

I read about "clogging the pores of the leather" and I'm a little worried about if I ruined the hat. Is it going to be okay? I'd rather not heat it with a hair dryer and wipe it how I read what to do in instances like this.

Sorry for the poor picture. It's actually my first leather hat.

A couple of my hats

1: Black trilby, Stetson
2: Grey fedora, Gårda

I only wear hats when dressing up in suit or a nice blazer, and allways with a tie.

Be honest... is this acceptable everyday wear, or am I getting banned from the local coffee shop?

Hat Experiment #3 - "The Sofi Tukker"

Felt: 230g 50/50 beaver, dark plum, factory 2nd
Crown: 4-4.5in, teardrop
Brim: 3.5in, flat with a pencil curl
Ribbon: Horsehair with a chicken feather

Size: 7 1/8

So, to start with, I really got spoiled with the factory seconds I had before. They had maybe a single spot off, they were really borderline 1st runs. This guy, on the other hand, had creases all over the place and something very weird happening with the stiffening agent. It was a struggle to work with, but I think led to a distressed/marbling look in the final product that I think looks kinda sick. I may go back and distress some more with a blow torch, to lean into that more, or at least add a sharpshooter lift. Jury's out right now.

Major technique change with this one was that I finally got a scroll saw, so was able to make a custom crown/sweatband shaping block for my head. All my hats so far have settled into a good fit after a day or so, but this one fit like a glove out of the gate.
