Business owners, when detailing a customers interior, do you clean out the center console or glove box?
First time customer, I did standard detail package for both his car and his wife’s. A couple days later he texts back a picture of his center console with a bunch of crumbs and a couple of receipts in it and seemed a little unhappy that it wasn’t cleaned.
I told him that I don’t typically even open glove boxes or center consoles when detailing interiors to avoid moving personal belongings, I offered to swing by and take care of it for him but he said, it makes sense and not to worry about it and still left a good review.
I’ve never had a customer ask about not cleaning their center console or glove before, is this something that’s apart of the standard interior detail that I’m not doing or is it just miscommunication on my end and how could have it been avoided?
