Me and my partner are buying his dad a new bird (as the other one sadly passed away) to keep this one company.
I was wondering if anyone would be able to identify what breed this bird is (and maybe the gender but it might be hard from the picture) and if anyone can recommend what kind of bird would be suitable to get?
Any advice would be great! :)
If you saw my last post, you know that the other bird in the cage sadly passed away yesterday afternoon. They had been together for years and always cleaned each other and cuddled together.
Ever since the other bird died this one has been making really high pitch screaming sounds (almost like crying) and I wanted to do something to make it feel better, if anyone has any advice I would really appreciate it.

Just wanted to say this is not my bird, it’s my bfs dads who lives in Romania, we are just visiting as we visit once a year.
I don’t know the gender,age or breed of either bird.
We have brought it some new food and it loved it, but im still wondering if there’s anything else we can do? Would anyone advise maybe getting another bird so it has some company? Or would this make the situation worse? And if so, what type of bird would you recommend?
She keeps pressuring me to hand my account over but I haven’t received the money??
