StubHub robbed me of $338 and kept my tickets after I did everything right — this is a scam
StubHub robbed me of $338 and kept my tickets after I did everything right. this is a scam
I listed tickets with a section typo (321 → 3). Buyer caught it within 24 HOURS. Concert was 83 days away. I immediately confirmed the error and cooperated fully. Nobody was stranded. Nobody was harmed.
StubHub charged me $338 anyway, kept my tickets, and hid behind FanProtect as if that policy was designed for this situation. It wasn't. FanProtect exists for buyers LEFT without tickets. That didn't happen.
This is StubHub exploiting a vague seller policy to extract money from good-faith sellers who make human errors. There is no proportionality. No accountability. Just a company taking $338 from someone who did the right thing.
I'm filing with the BBB, my state AG, disputing with my credit card, and contacting consumer reporters. If you've been hit with an unexplained seller charge by StubHub, comment below, I want to hear your story.
