Deino, corpse management and the environment (HT)

Okay so the way the diet system works, deinos have to constantly be rotting corpses from AI to maintain diet while growing. In case anyone is wondering why this matters. The reason rotting corpses is extremely important is because many of the most frequently played dinosaurs are either too big to kill as a growing deino, or doesnt give diet unless rotten.

It happens alot on hordetest that after moving something dead from one location to another that i lose the ability to interact with the item. Cant grab them, cant eat them.

This also happens on its own when it goes from meat to rotten, and from whatever to carcass.

These problems happen on land, but they are mostly happening in relation to water, seemingly at a very very high frequency (+90%)

This effectively means that if multiple of your rotting corpses bug, you will not always have time to rot something else, you will lose diet and miss Prime because of temporary infertility

Managing a buffet of dead animals is already somewhat tedious, but when it also doesnt work well, then why bother.

It seems like deinos have also lost the ability to drag corpses since they changed the grabbing system in the patch. This effectively means that if you kill anything bigger than half your size you will never be able to move it.

So imagine killing your favorite dish as its drinking. You are now unable to eat this if say, a group of Raptors or dilos show up. Or if there is another herbivore around that just starts whacking its tail in your vicinity out of spite.

This is actually a really big issue because deinos rely heavily on the ability to move your food out of harms way.

I am aware that this is not (as much) an issue when you are fully grown, but most players are in fact not, the majority of the time.

Deino bite range for land based combat

Basicly i just lose 100% of my engagementet with other species unless they are so small its a one hit kill. Or unless we are in water.

I have fought pretty much any species while being the same weight, or very close to that species max weight, and yet i just lose every time. It feels like my hits dont really register, i can hear the enemy dino cry, i can see the river of blood after unleashing 15 times their own bite force upon them, but people just keep circling me and bleed me out.

A couple days ago i had one of those wierd retarded sounding stegos walk up to me on hordetest, i was a 6ton deino and he was about as tall as i was, he then proceeded to beat me to death while seemingly ignoring every bite i took at him.

What gives?
