i know financial aid is supposed to have dispersed today but i’m still waiting on the cal grant and the middle class scholarship. on money maters it says my tuition is deferred by financial aid, does anyone know how long this deferral is? when can i expect my aid? do i need to pay the first installment of the tuition before my aid comes?
i know block schedules aren’t finalized until aug 5th, but as of now i have a virtual zoom class and an async class. are these types of classes common? any advice for them? do people usually do virtual classes from their dorms/do you have to have your camera on normally?

i just found out i got invited to the core program and i was wondering if others found it fun/helpful? i was surprised to be invited since i’m white and not first gen or low income (not underrepresented like they said the program was meant for). i think they must have invited me because i’m trans/lgbtq. but their focus group are all race based so i’m not sure if i was who they had in mind for this program and if i would really fit in. i don’t want to be intruding on spaces for poc so i’d love some insight on what the program is like. moving in early would be nice lmao

is there a way to know how the furniture will be laid out in each specific dorm room? my roommates and i got a yak triple (building F, 4th floor) but i’ve seen lots of different variations of furniture layouts in the yak rooms and i was wondering if there’s a way to find the one for our room. thanks!
