Lately I’ve noticed something odd.

If it’s completely silent, my mind starts racing and I end up overthinking everything.

But if I put on music, I either tune it out or start focusing on it too much.

What’s been working a bit better is having something very light to follow (like a calm voice or slow, low-stakes content). It keeps my mind occupied just enough without waking me up.

I’m not sure if that’s just me or if there’s actually something to this.

Do you fall asleep better in silence, or with something in the background?
