Battery BMS Recalibration Results

The last time I recalibrated our 23 Bolt EV was a couple of years ago. I decided it was time to do it again.

I charged the Bolt to 100%, planning to drive it down to at least 5%. Since we mainly drive the Bolt a few miles a day in city limit distances I knew it would take a while. Last Sunday pulled into the driveway with 11%. Impatients got the better of me, I plugged it and charged too 100%.

The evse app showed 62.66 KWH was used to charge to 100%, keeping in mind the battery had 11% or around 7 kwh still in.

This morning the car was charged to 78% and Torque Pro showed slightly over 60 kwh.

With all these numbers I'm thinking the battery hasn't degraded much at all. I'm really impressed with these results. This is after 3 years and 26,000 miles. The first couple of weeks after we bought it the Bolt was DC fast charged a couple of times while we waited for Qmerit to install the 50 amp circuit so we could charge the Bolt at L2 charging.

At my age I think the Bolt is going to out last me.
