Completely bombed my L&D interview 😖
May 2025 Southern CA graduate nurse here.
Just looking to vent because I’m so disappointed in myself. I had an interview for a L&D fellowship and I was so nervous I feel like I completely blew it. I answered all the questions but thinking back, I could’ve gave WAY better answers and I was literally stuttering 😖 I have some snf experience & I currently have a job at a psych hospital but I was so excited to finally get into my dream specialty. It’s so hard to even get an interview at a hospital out here! They said I would get an update by the end of next week but I won’t hold my breath. I guess another year in psych wont kill me. 😞
I did apply to additional fellowship openings within the same hospital system at different locations, praying I hear back from one of them so I can use this interview as practice 🥴
