This is a question that I’ve kinda had for a bit. I personally think it’s obvious why Visi falls for Rob: he was one of the first people in her life to not only believe in her, but also go out of his way to support her and help keep her job. With Rob though I have trouble finding why exactly he falls in love with her in the Invisigal romance route. Do any of you guys have an answer?
I mean there’s Robs whole 15 year career we don‘t know really anything about so I think it’s possible. And no I don’t consider Shroud to be Robert’s arch-nemesis since the guy was in prison for 15 years(the entirety of Robert’s career). Not to mention shroud made it pretty clear that he cared more about the astral-pulse and Robbie then Robert himself. So what do you guys think? is it possible or am I spewing crap right now.
Edit: I think I’m starting to understand a bit better now. I think I didn’t really consider it much of an arch-rivalry compared to others I’ve seen in superhero media. but some of the comments have put it in better perspective for me so thanks. But still you think it’s possible he had a rival or two during those 15 years?
Edit: Edit: guys I’m not saying shroud isn’t one of Robert’s biggest villains(that we know of at least). I’m just saying that, me personally, I don’t consider them like actual rivals since while Robert does hate shroud, shroud himself could give less of a shit about Robert. shroud always felt more like Robbie’s rival since shroud had a massive hate b for him since there was bad blood for Robbie. With Robert it always semed like the only reason why he was going after him was because he was an inconvenience not because shroud actually views him as a rival which is why I don’t view him that way. I’m more talking about if he had a rival during those 15 years that shroud was completely absent and Robert was doing his thing as Mecha man blue
