Two characters resemblance

Is it me, or does the unmasked Shroud kinda look like Niko Bellic?

The facial structure, hairstyle, and expression.

What do you think?

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Recently finished dispatch for the first time. Short review.

I'm conflicted on what to give for a score for this game. Because story wise its definitely good, not mind blowing or anything but pretty good, I'd probably give that aspect like a 8 out of 10 overall, simple and exactly what I'd expect from a superhero story.

My problems start with the characters, not because they're poorly written, rather because of how underused/sidelined most of them feel. Outside of Robert, invisigal, and blonde blazer the side characters dont have much going for them, for example Sonar to me just feels like "chill crackhead that looks like a bat" and prism feels like "colorful diva influencer", this doesn't mean i don't like them but they weren't too memorable in comparison to the other characters that had much more screen time. Before playing this game the only thing I knew about it is that it was originally supposed to be an animated show and I dont know if this will be controversial but I think it should've stayed that way. To me it feels like they sacrificed time they could have used to give depth to the side characters if it were an animated show and used it instead for gameplay which is mostly about Robert (which obviously makes sense cause he's the MC). On average I'd probably give the characters an overall score of 6 just because most of them either dont have any depth to them outside of the core few.

And finally for the gameplay, it was fine mostly just picking dialogue options like I was expecting and the dispatch sections in between felt like a fresh of breath air. 7/10.

Feel free to ask me anything about my playthrough or any other aspect of the game.

Edit: the overall game I'd give about a 7.5 or 8/10. It was good but there's better indie games out there.

Red Box Glitch

I downloaded the game for the first time and when I tried to launch it I got an error, I looked into it and apparently it's something to do with changing the launch settings by adding -dx12. I did that and got a fatal error, so I just resolved to launch the game directly. It worked and the menu and setting work but when I tried to play it, this is all I see.

I've tried full screen and windowed mode, I've tried it with vsync on and off, and I've relaunched the game. It's still the same. Does anyone know what caused this?

Au/Oc Visigal- one shit day

After losing her partner after everything after he accepted her, despite every flaw in the book, despite all of her problems and addictions, he never let her atray Courtney now tracks down shroud specifically, while her teammates go after the lower level of the red ring

I don't understand why devs put Dispatch on Amazon Luna before Xbox

I find it weird that we're pretty deep into summer now, yet there has been no announcement on the release date for the Xbox port. Yet yesterday out of nowhere, devs announced an Amazon Luna drop of the game.

I mean, is cloud gaming really a popular way to play indie games like Dispatch? I get live service AAA titles like EA FC might find some players on that medium, but I don't think anyone was asking devs for a cloud gaming support for Dispatch. Looking at the comments under their tweet, most people are kinda baffled by this announcement.

I know they've been saying that the Xbox port is coming in "Summer 2026" but it has been four months since that indication and not a real date since. I've mentioned this before, but AdHoc did miss out on two major summer games events like the Summer Game Fest and Xbox Showcase which would've been perfect for an announcement.

I want more of Dispatch and most of all an endless mode.

Just finished the game, loved the characters and the only thing that disappointed me was that there is not more of the dispatching. For the story it absolutely made sense to have it like it is, and i think its exactly as much as it should be but i would love for a sequel to include some kind of Darkest Dungeon lite, obviously without the perma-death but with more depth to character builds and some kind of endless or at least long term mode where you can sink like 100 hours in.

Maybe I'm alone with that but i feel like that would be awesome. But dont get me wrong that's just in addition to more story mode. If i had to pick one thing in the game it would be the characters that made it great. And obviously they could charge more money for more content, or they keep the price low and make it modular so the endless mode is DLC.

TLDR; I WANT MORE DISPATCH!

Rob watching "Blonde Blazer Loves Being a Super Hero | The Tomorrow Night Show"

This and the advertisement on the side of the bus are pretty neat details to establish how famous Blonde Blazer is right in the first episode. I kinda wish we'd gotten to see a little bit more of this interview just to further show the contrast between how Blazer acts when she's putting on the public hero persona versus how comfortable she is around Robert.

Malevola at Crypto Night

"Do I need to dress up?"

"Yes, it's a Vanderstenk after party. I like to call him Vanderswank--dude's a certified GENIUS with the threads. Sorry Mal but cut-off jeans won't cut it"

The Baddest [3D OC]

Prism, the baddest, is done :) Kinda nailed it ngl.

Mal, Prism, Rob and Wb have turned out so much better than Coup and Visi, I'll have to revisit them. BUT I really wanna try and do Sonar next. We'll see.
