My WIP Octagonal Pyramid Megabase - The ONLY factory on my map. Fully self-sufficient, automatically routing raw ores from bottom to top.

Hey Pioneers!

I wanted to share my biggest project yet: an octagonal pyramid , built around the giant arch rock in the Dunes.

My ultimate goal? This will be the ONLY factory on my entire map. >Absolutely no external sub-factories or pre-processing. The entire world's raw resources will arrive via trains and will be processed, multiplied, and assembled entirely within this single colossus. It is 100% self-sufficient—it even generates its own power!

🏆 The Protagonist: The Central Storage Room

The heart and soul of the pyramid will be a massive central storage room at the very top. Everything we produce flows upward. It’s an organic vertical journey from raw ore at the water level to end-game items at the peak.

🔄 The Logistics Flow:

EAST & WEST (Twin Stations): Trains bring every single raw mineral in the game. West handles "wet/dangerous" stuff (Uranium, Sulfur, Oil, Coal). East handles the dry desert minerals (Iron, Copper, Caterium, Quartz, Bauxite).

SOUTH (The Wet Engine): All resources from the stations run straight to the water level (South). Here, we have the Refineries and pure recipe Smelters using the ocean water to multiply yields.

THE UNDERWATER RAD-SHIELD: Uranium is routed through a sealed, underwater/subterranean belt tunnel directly to the Nuclear Zone at the far edge of the South platform to keep the main factory 100% radiation-free.

THE CENTRAL ARCH: Once raw materials are refined into clean ingots/plastics in the South, they merge and run through the natural rock cave tunnel directly to the NORTH (Dry Land).

NORTH (The Assembly Line): Clean materials climb vertically through the floors, getting assembled into increasingly complex parts until they reach the Central Storage at the top.

Aligning the octagonal grid over different terrain heights has been a complete nightmare, but keeping the landscape intact while routing everything through the natural cave is incredibly satisfying.

What do you guys think of this "all-in-one" routing concept? Any tips for managing the sheer scale of the item elevator lines in the core?
